„Der Paul war der Dolmetscher bei einem Choraustaustasch zwischen den St. Nicholas Singers aus Northwich, UK und unserem Kinderchor, den „Kolibris“, hier in Koblenz, Deutschland. Ohne ihn hätten wir es nicht geschafft! Er war fleiβig, sympathisch und sehr effektiv.“

3 days to go ...
Montag, den 26. Juli 2010 um 00:00 Uhr

Only three days to go now. Things are getting a bit tense in the run in.  Frayed nerves, last minute hitches and disagreements about the finishing touches.  I suppose that's normal, is it?

Yesterday we checked out the venue for the wedding breakfast (why's it called that when it's usually at night?).  A cosy room in a restaurant on the hill above Talheim, but private.  Just about right I'd say. Only need to choose the menu now.  Should be straightforward. We're all omnivores except for each of the Hausfrau's children: one's a vegetarian, another's a vegan and the third only eats meat!  Must have been fun cooking family meals back then!

Today we visited the local florist to order two bridal bouquets, one for the civil marriage in the Standesamt on Thursday, and the other for the church wedding in the Maulbronner Kloster on Saturday.

We can't decide whether to have a wedding cake or not - probably left it a bit late now!
