A new soap opera began on Spanish TV this week – based on the relationship between Crown Prince Felipe, the heir to the Spanish throne, and his commoner wife Letizia, a former journalist, .

The soap opera, entitled Felipe and Letizia: A Love Story, aired its first episode on Tuesday on national TV channel Telecinco.
