Leserbriefe

„Der Paul war der Dolmetscher bei einem Choraustaustasch zwischen den St. Nicholas Singers aus Northwich, UK und unserem Kinderchor, den „Kolibris“, hier in Koblenz, Deutschland. Ohne ihn hätten wir es nicht geschafft! Er war fleiβig, sympathisch und sehr effektiv.“

Back home, but not for long!
Samstag, den 29. Januar 2011 um 14:00 Uhr

After spending five of the last six weeks in either Germany or the UK, it feels good to be back home in Spain again – just in time to move house next week!

Having lived in six different houses in the last six years I’m on the move again, but for the final time, I hope. It’s time to settle down now, after a turbulent half decade.

I found a new lady and a new life in 2008, got married again last summer and now the new Mrs W and I are about to move into our dream home, which should see us through to the end of our days.

It’s a single storey villa, with easy vehicular access, on level ground, with a garden and pool, in the campo, yet just five minutes’ drive from Ronda. Perfect!

What about Montejaque? I hear you ask.  Yes, I love Montejaque and have written extensively and lovingly about my life in this tranquil village in the mountains of the Sierra de Grazalema natural park.  To be honest we shall both be leaving with heavy hearts, as we have enjoyed living here, but unfortunately there was no property available in the village that met our criteria for our new life together.

But, hey, Montejaque’s only 15 minutes away from Ronda by car, so I think we’ll still be around quite a lot.

And anyway, what’s wrong with Ronda?
