T I wrote last year about the Fábrica de Cerveza Kettal (FCK), located in Los Barrios (Cádiz) in the article Real ale in Spain? – Almost..., in which I suggested it might be the first real ale brewery in Spain. I was corrected in no uncertain terms by Ian Orpe of the Saxon Brewery in Vélez Rubio, Almería, which supplies various bars in Almería and Murcia with UK-style real ale. Sorry, Ian, and thanks! Tony B wrote to advise of La Fábrica in Sevilla, a brew-pub in the Plaza de las Armas. Again no website but you can read about it here: http://sevilla.salir.com/la_fabrica_cc_plaza_de_armas I haven’t yet had the chance to visit any of the three personally nor to sample any of the beers, but they’re on my to-do list!
