What a year!

As I celebrated my birthday earlier this week, I was able to reflect on an amazing year! A year in which I turned 60, got engaged, then married and, finally, moved house. My very own annus mirabilis!

Yes, it was 12 months ago that, on my 60th birthday, I got engaged to the lovely Rita. Just over two months later we were married, in Germany, and six months after that we moved to our dream home, a finca in the campo near Ronda, Andalucía.

I wonder what delights the next 12 months will have in store for me ...
