As for websites, I’ve had my own – www.a1-solutions-spain.com - for nearly two years, but I paid a web designer to build that and still pay him to maintain it. So who would have thought I would be capable of building a website on my own? I certainly didn’t! But, it's easier than you think! I started yesterday with a free website builder - www.webs.com – and I’ve just finished and published a new site: www.a1-holidays-spain.webs.com Designed solely to promote our two holiday lets in Ronda and Montejaque, I must say I’m pretty pleased with what I’ve come up with – thanks to webs.com, of course. Why not take a look at my new site? Click here. I’d be delighted to receive any feedback, positive or negative, and any bookings too, of course! I thought I was fairly technophobic! Don’t get me wrong – I like new technology, as long as it helps me do things quicker and better! However, I do tend to come to it late. For example, I didn’t switch to CDs from cassettes until 1995. I didn’t get a mobile until 1998, and even now I only use the one I have for phone calls and the odd text message. I’ve been using various types of computer since the late 80s and I am familiar with the software which is useful to me, eg wordprocessing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, Powerpoint, email, googling and websurfing. But do I understand it? Not a chance! Nor do I want to – I just want it to work.
