Client Testimonials

"When I bought an apartment in Ronda in 2001 and a house in 2003, Paul was an invaluable help in my dealings with estate agents, lawyers, at the bank and at the notary. It’s too risky to do it all without a competent interpreter. Many do, but I would strongly advise against it."

PRESS RELEASE: February 2012

The Great Estepona Dog Show: Date and new classes announced

Here’s a date for the diary, Sunday June 3rd 2012, the day of The Great Estepona Dog Show, organised by local charity ADANA with all the proceeds being used to care for abandoned dogs in this area.

The Show, which will be held in the Palacio de Congresos, Estepona, will this year include two new classes: Best Pedigree and Best Spanish Breed. In the latter category entrants are invited from such beautiful breeds as: the Podenco, Galgo, Bodegero Andaluz and the incomparable Spanish Waterdog.

The Show will continue with its highly popular Agility and Obedience classes, so aspiring entrants may need to get into training now for: High Jumps, Obstacle Courses, Round the Clock Jumping and Obedience.

Amongst many other categories, prizes will also be awarded to “The Dog with the Waggiest Tail” and, our perennial favourite, the “Dog who looks most like his/her owner”, as well as Best Veteran and Best Puppy.

The Show is all about dogs. It’s for dogs and dog lovers. But it’s also about having fun, meeting friends over a cup of coffee or glass of cava and entertaining the kids – there’s even a prize for the “Best Junior Dog Handler”. There is no better place to admire the variety, beauty, ability and dedication of Man’s Best Friend, so get the date in your diaries now!

Foreign cars warning! PDF

The Spanish authorities are cracking down on foreign vehicles being used illegally here. In an effort to regularise the situation and to collect much needed revenue, the tax authorities together with the guardia civil are locating foreign-plated vehicles and if they are illegal - ie over the time limit, unregistered here, have outstanding unpaid taxes, are uninsured and/or un-MOT’d - the police are confiscating the vehicles and giving owners just five days to legalise them.
