Two insurance companies here in Spain seem to have fallen out. If you have any insurance policies with either Ibex Insurance or Knight Insurance Brokers, you should read the following information on their respective websites ...
Comments
If any one is concerned about their policies I suggest that they contact Knight Insurance themselves and discuss the situation with them or speak to the guardia civil.
I do not believe that there is any problem with existing Ibex policies, but please confirm that yourselves. As soon as my Ibex policy expires, Knight is changing me to liberty. knights, aswell as the guardia civil( I had to make sure) have confirmed that my ibex policy is still valid.
I rang Liberty directly, and they confirmed that there is no problem. knights are paying the premiums as normal.
There could be an element of dirty tricks here from Ibex site. We need to tread very carefully with any discussions on this subject
You can just confirm with the police that you are covered. They confirmed to me aswell that is it just rumors and aparently legal acions have been taken agains ibex. Knight inusrance did not steal any money. Ibex is trying to steal their clients.
