I met one of Ryanair’s calendar girls on my flight to the UK today. Hannah, aka Miss January 2010, was  a member of the cabin crew on flight FR 9863 from Málaga to Liverpool.

Chatting – as you do – to the two hostesses strapped in opposite me at the front of the plane as we wait for take-off, I ask if either of them has ever met the big boss, Michael O’Leary. 

I have, says the sultry, dark-eyed one, whose badge identifies her as Hannah. I met him when we shot the Ryanair Calendar.

I joke that I’d remembered seeing her in last month’s in-flight magazine naked on the beach in Alicante .

No, that was Danija, Miss October.  I was Miss January....., she said, without batting an eyelid.
