I’ve since done some research and discovered that the Spanish town of Lorca in Murcia province, some 380 kilometres from here, suffered several low-level tremors yesterday, culminating in a quake at 6.47 pm measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale. The first I knew of this disaster was when I got a Facebook message this morning from a relative in the UK, asking if we were OK.
