Client Testimonials

"We enjoyed being in a small, friendly Spanish community with such easy access to the town.  The apartment is very comfortable.  We made good use of the extensive library and the garden and pool – a lovely way to relax after a hard day’s ‘culture’!"

Incomunicado
Monday, 15 August 2011 00:00

I was incomunicado yesterday. The phones went unanswered and I didn’t turn on my computer to check my emails, Facebook, Twitter, to chat on forums or to Skype. It was bliss!

Yes, for the first time in ages I eschewed communication with the outside world. Although I went and bought the Sunday papers, I didn’t read them. Instead I just relaxed and did little for probably the first time since I retired seven years ago.

I stayed indoors out of the fierce heat, apart from frequent dips in the pool to cool off, and watched four films: Charlie Wilson’s War (Tom Hanks), Michael Clayton (George Clooney), Capote (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and Glorious 39 on TV. All good in their ways, although Hoffman as Capote got on my nerves!

Time was I would have described that as a wasted day, but not yesterday, for I needed to rest and re-charge the batteries ahead of another busy week.
