The kilometre gauge in my Seat León reached 77,777 as I pulled up outside our house on Monday night. A nice round number rounding off a nice few days. My friend from England had been on a visit and I’d earlier that day dropped him off at Málaga Airport for his flight back to Liverpool.

Alan has been to Ronda a number of times. Back in 2003 he came out on several occasions to help me renovate a house in Barrio San Francisco. He’s also been for holidays with me and came to my 60^th party last year in nearby Montejaque.

While he’s returned to the wind and rain of north west England, we continue to enjoy gorgeous sunny weather!
